Miles Courts
The Howard County Tennis Center is needing your help with some much needed renovations and facility improvements. Our goals are to reface our building insulation (ceiling and wall liner - see below), resurface our courts for play quality and the expansion of pickle ball, and improve the aesthetics of our lobby, upstairs and bathrooms (new carpet, paint and remodel). For this to happen we are establishing a fundraising goal of $125,000.
The Howard County Indoor Tennis Center is a non-for-profit organization, so donations can be made as charitable contributions on your taxes. The building is also used by the Greentown Lions Club for the the Howard County Fair, another non-for-profit organization. Large corporate sponsors will be showcased inside the building during the indoor tennis/pickle ball season as well as during the Howard County Fair.
Below you will see pictures of our current facilities. The picture on the right is what it will look like after repair. Since our inception in 2003, some repairs are needed just due to wear and tear and some are needed because of original installation mistakes. One major issue being a poor insulation guard/vapor barrier. The current insulation is at risk for coming down and the lack of a vapor barrier is creating condensation water drips that come down from the ceiling. We are also in need of new carpet and paint and if we have enough funds we eventually want to replace some older non-LED lighting fixtures in our lobby and bathrooms.

Silver $1,000 we will list your business on our sponsorship list visible in the lobby

Friends - $100 we will list you on our website and recognize you on social media
